Contentment

Contentment is a calm, quiet joy. The faces of mother and baby, snuggling, smiling, with eyes focused on one another, is a picture of the word. Wouldn’t it be amazing to live in contentment daily? We can…if we learn to focus not on circumstances but train our eyes on our loving, faithful, powerful, all-sufficient, present-with-us God, who proves to be our contentment in the midst of everyday life. (“I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances…. I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.” Phil. 4:11-13)
