Seeking Love

God designed you for loving relationships with others and with Himself. The Bible describes love as patient, kind, humble, forgiving, good, truthful, protective, trustworthy, and faithful. That’s a tall order, expecting fallible human beings to fill the dry canyon of longing in our souls. So it is necessary to shield ourselves from the scorching winds of damaging relationships. Even the noblest relationships fall short of quenching our vast thirst for love. God provided the remedy: the bottomless well of love we seek is a personal relationship with Jesus. In addition, Jesus coaches us for developing satisfying human relationships while avoiding arid ones.
