Secure Hope, Not Flimsy Wishes

The pains and sufferings we experience are real, horrendous, overwhelming, and damaging. We reject flimsy wishes, air castles, and daydreams because they evaporate quickly and provide no real relief. We seek concrete, genuine, stable, trustworthy, and secure hope. We want to grasp and hang on to something or someone. Where can we find that? Only one source of that brand of hope is available: Jesus, as God in flesh, answered our search through His earthly life, death, and resurrection, and He continues to answer us from His throne of hope in heaven! Jesus provides solid answers, real comfort, strength, and perseverance for life.
